Alison is a practicing accountant and a fellow member of the National Tax & Accountants Association & a registered Tax Agent. Also a member of the IPA & a CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) with the Tax Institute.
With over 20 years of experience, Alison boasts a wealth of experience in the fields of taxation, financial management, and accounting. Her client portfolio has spanned a diverse range of industries, including services, trades, and retail. Central to her professional philosophy is her ability to bridge the gap between complex accounting and business terminology into plain language so no matter what your background is you can understand what is going on in your business.
Alison derives immense satisfaction from being an integral part of her clients' businesses. She actively supports them from the inception phase, offering guidance on structural setup, all the way through pivotal milestones like hiring their first employee and beyond.
In 2019, having successfully sold her thriving practice in Marsden, which served over 2000 clients, Alison embarked on a new venture, founding Solutions Accounting & Bookkeeping alongside her daughter, Kimberley Hewett. Operating from her modern home office.
Alison is a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor, a MYOB Certified Business Advisor, and a Xero Certified Advisor. Her mission is to develop a deep understanding of her clients’ businesses enabling her to recommend streamlined, automated business processes that mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
Beyond her professional commitments, Alison's interests encompass her passion for travel and cruising. She cherishes quality time spent with her four adult children and her grandson. Breeding Toy Poodles is another of her cherished pursuits, and her three beloved dogs—Harry, Maple, and Capri—are always ready to extend a warm welcome to clients."

Kimberley is a Certified Bookkeeper with ICB (The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) and Registered BAS Agent with TPB (Tax Practitioners Board).
Kimberley completed her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping in 2018 and has since started her Diploma in Accounting as part of her pathway to becoming a registered Tax Agent. Recently Kimberley completed a 2022 Income Tax Course which now allows her to prepare tax returns.
Kimberley takes pride in assisting clients in streamlining their financial processes and alleviating the stress associated with tax obligations and paperwork. Her ultimate goal is to enable her clients to concentrate on what they love most – their business.
Kimberley's expertise extends to various accounting software platforms. She is a Pro Advisor of QuickBooks Online, a Xero Certified Advisor, and proficient in utilizing MYOB, HandiTax, and LodgeIt for efficient financial management.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Kimberley is a dedicated mother and wife. She is an enthusiastic traveler and has a keen interest in real estate. As a devoted supporter, she passionately cheers for her favorite team, the Brisbane Broncos!
